Braided Sandwich

What you need:
One loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
One to two packages very thinly sliced sandwich meat (use as much or as little as you like)
Six to eight cheese singles
Butter/margarine (optional- keeps sandwich moist)

How to do it:
When bread dough has thawed and risen, roll out flat on a lightly floured surface to the approximate length and width of a cookie sheet. (Next step is easiest if the rolled dough is placed on a cookie sheet- you will be baking it on this as well. Kitchen shears also help...)Cut dough one third in on each side, down entire length- at a slight angle (see illustration). Lightly spread butter or margarine down middle. Layer cheese slices down middle, overlapping slightly. Add meat of your choice. "Braid" the dough to cover fillings by laying a strip across the top, and then one from the opposite side. Lightly press together. Bake at 350 on an un-greased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes. 5 to 7 servings.

Can also be made many many different ways. Cheeseburger ingredients, or chicken with mozzarella and marinara sauce... Just make sure all meat is cooked thoroughly first.Possibilities are endless :P

Another note, if you can't get the braiding to work out, it is just as delicious if you roll it out flat, put the fillings on one half, then fold it over. Just press the edges together and make slits in the top!

That looks yummy I must try it.
Oh, it is. I'm making another one this week! Yippee, something I make that Nate will actually eat!
I am making this now....Jim is drooling. I will have to take a picture to show you how mine turned out...I did cheeseburger ingredients.
